Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Designer Brands. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize store business results by consistently creating exceptional customer experiences and providing personalized service to customers.
  • Maintain exceptional product knowledge and stay up-to-date on industry trends to provide informed recommendations to customers.
  • Provide a shopping experience that encourages uniquely responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation, and operational integrity that will encourage positive customer connections and loyalty.
  • Foster teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district.
  • Maintain effective, open lines of communication with the Store Manager and other team members.
  • Carry out other tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.

Requirements

  • Ability to assume a variety of scheduled shifts, including daytime shifts and weekends.
  • Open, approachable, and outgoing attitude when interacting with customers and co-workers.
  • Excellent customer service and strong will to assist customer needs.
  • Motivated and driven to achieve results.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Openness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to change.
