Key Responsibilities- Receiving and Processing Inventory: Unpack products received by the store and count, weigh, or sort items to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Stocking and Merchandising: Stock shelves and display areas with merchandise, ensuring that products are facing forward and at eye level.
- Customer Service: Direct customers to the location of articles sought and provide assistance with finding products.
- Operations Support: Perform general cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Technology and Data Entry: Process electronic transactions using computer equipment and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
This is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The Shelf Stocker will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
Requirements and Qualifications- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn the skills required for the role.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- Work Schedule: 30-40 hours per week.
