Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist

National Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Finance professional to join their team in Toronto, Ontario.
This role will involve supporting all coverage groups in the Mergers and Acquisitions team, utilizing financial analysis and modeling skills to have a positive impact on clients.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare materials and presentations for clients, showcasing expertise in financial analysis and modeling.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and modeling in support of transactions, working closely with senior team members.
- Originate and execute M&A and other advisory services, leveraging industry knowledge and research.
- Conduct a variety of industry and company research and analysis, providing valuable insights to clients.
- Support senior team members in deal execution and client coverage efforts, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills.

Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A.
- Strong analytical and exceptional financial modeling skills.
- Proficiency in creating PowerPoint presentations and other written documents.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with time-sensitive deliverables.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Fluency in French is considered an asset.
