About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Medicine Hat Care Community Ltd. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy
  • Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
  • Assess patient needs and develop care plans to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
  • Monitor patients' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions
Requirements
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
  • 2 years of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
