About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at RedStep Immigration Services Inc. as a Visual Communications Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective communications materials for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and guide a team of graphic designers and graphic arts technicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality visual communications materials.
  • Project Management
    • Estimate and manage project timelines to ensure timely completion of graphic designs and illustrations.
    • Coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, and electronic materials.
  • Design and Creativity
    • Develop and adapt existing illustrations to meet client objectives.
    • Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations.
    • Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and delivery of visual communications materials.
    • Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers to ensure consistency in visual communications materials.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Process files and paperwork related to graphic design projects.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in graphic design or a related field.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment
    • 40 hours per week.
