Viaana Foods Inc is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning and decision-making.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Supervision: 5-10 people.
