Research Faculty Position in Health Equity

About the Role
We are seeking a highly qualified Research Faculty member to join our team at the University of Toronto's Dalla Lana School of Public Health. The successful candidate will be appointed as an Assistant Professor and will hold a joint appointment between the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation (IHPME) and Public Health Sciences (PHS).
Responsibilities
The appointee will contribute to teaching, research, and service activities within the School. They will be expected to establish a strong research program focused on health equity and demonstrate a commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity among students, faculty, and staff.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- A demonstrated track record of research excellence in health equity
- Excellent teaching and communication skills
- A commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity
What We Offer
The University of Toronto offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a full-time tenure-stream appointment with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025.
