The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Advisor to join our team at BrokerLink in Richmond Hill, ON.

About the Role:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, advising on insurance matters and conducting needs assessments.
  • Sell new policies and retain existing business, while maintaining a strong understanding of underwriting rules and workflow processes.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy, and prepare documentation for insurers.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices, and actively participate in training initiatives.
  • Contribute to community marketing initiatives and process account receivable activities.

Requirements:

  • High school and/or post-secondary education.
  • Minimum 1-year personal insurance experience, with a Level 1 General license preferred.
  • Exposure to Epic is an asset.
  • Strong customer focus, analytical and organizational skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check.
