We are seeking a skilled Culinary Artist to join our team at OSCARS DELI. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, taking into account their specific needs and requirements.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment, with a willingness to relocate and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, organized, and a team player.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role, with a permanent contract and 35 hours per week.
