Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Team Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and train them in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Cleanliness: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail.
