About the Role:

  • Perform analytical chemistry techniques such as HPLC, GC, and TLC to test the quality of finished drug products and raw materials.
  • Support method development, transfer, and validation activities to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Write new test methods, SOPs, controlled forms, and data entry templates to maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare validation protocols and reports according to regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct technical reviews of laboratory records and write technical documents.
  • Participate in investigations for testing failure and non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical science or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in analytical chemistry techniques and GMP regulations.
  • Proficiency in equipment data processing software such as Empower and Mass Hunter.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience working under Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission regulations is an asset.

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. This estimate is based on national averages for Pharmaceutical Chemists in the United States.
