Senior Identity Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Identity Security Engineer to join our team at Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc. as a Lead Product Security Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing our distributed-identity orchestration platform, Maverics.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Develop Maverics: Use your expertise in system-level coding to build and maintain our identity orchestration platform.
- Agile Development: Participate in all stages of the SDLC using agile methods, pair programming, and test-driven development.
- DevSecOps: Build and run software following a DevSecOps model, ensuring the highest level of security and reliability.
- Technology Evaluation: Evaluate new technologies and techniques to improve general practices and contribute to technical design.
- Code Reviews: Contribute to code reviews to ensure good engineering practices are being applied.
- Identity Management: Contribute to key areas of large-scale Go-based Identity Management product development, being ready to lead where your expertise shines.
- Customer Deployments: Work with professional services for successful deployments in customer environments.
- Hybrid Work Environment: Work in a hybrid environment, with at least 3 days per week in our downtown Vancouver office.
- Education: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Technical Skills: Experience with system-level languages (GoLang, C, or Rust), Linux, networking, web, and app servers.
- Experience: 7+ years experience in software development and engineering for cloud-native or enterprise software company.
- Cloud and Identity: Solid experience with HTTP, Web application architectures, and cloud platforms, as well as understanding of enterprise identity infrastructure and core security concerns of cloud and on-premises environments.
- Software Engineering: Grounding in modern software engineering practices and design patterns, including Test Driven Development and Pair Programming.
- Hybrid Work Environment: Hybrid work environment with 3 days in the office.
