About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Identity and Access Management Engineering to lead our Privileged Access Management (PAM) Services team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Technology and Operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and owning PAM services that meet the highest standards of security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of PAM services, including HashiCorp Vault and CyberArk, to ensure secure access to sensitive data and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement enterprise-wide IAM solutions that meet business requirements and security standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members on IAM architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and security experts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in IAM and PAM to ensure our solutions remain secure and effective.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IAM and PAM, with a strong focus on technical implementation and leadership.
  • Proven experience with HashiCorp Vault and CyberArk, as well as other IAM and PAM solutions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
