Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Organizational Development Consultant to join our team on a 9-month remote contract. As a key member of our diverse team, you will play a crucial role in a multi-year transformation project, serving as an OCM Stakeholder Owner for assigned stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with assigned stakeholders through super user and leader engagement networks to ensure effective communication about change impacts to their people, processes, and technology.
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify people risks and work with impacted leaders and other people support teams to mitigate them.
  • Agile Change Management: Leverage an Agile change management approach to execute targeted communication and engagement plans, partnering with OCM team members and people support teams to develop, communicate, and measure stakeholder readiness journeys.
  • Deliverables and Feedback: Develop and deliver associated deliverables in partnership with system integrator and OCM resources to support assigned stakeholder groups in their change journey. Gather feedback from stakeholders on the effectiveness of change activities and recommend adjustments to programming as required.
  • Change Leadership Coaching: Provide change leadership coaching to assigned stakeholder managers and super users in performing their change roles to support go-live readiness.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience leading change management initiatives.
  • Certification: PROSCI, ACMP, or other change management certification is a strong asset.
  • Project Environment: Familiarity with working in a project environment and Agile methodology is required.
  • Large Organization Experience: Experience with change management in a large organization is essential.
  • Critical Thinking and Analysis: Demonstrated critical thinking, analysis, and business acumen skills are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Government or Crown Corporation Experience: Experience in government or Crown Corporation is an asset.
  • Transformation Change Experience: Experience with transformation change is highly desirable.
  • Agile IT Projects: Experience on large Agile IT projects is preferred.
  • Agile Project/Change Management Delivery: Experience with Agile project/change management delivery is essential.
  • Communication and Relationship Skills: Strong communication, relationship, negotiation, and leadership skills are required.
  • Facilitation and Coaching Skills: Facilitation and coaching skills are necessary.
