We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Alberta Health Services.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is between $35.87/hour and $43.82/hour, depending on experience.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Registered Nurse in a dynamic and fast-paced operating room environment.

  • As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing surgery.
  • You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive safe and effective care.
  • Your responsibilities will include providing perioperative patient care, supporting the surgical team, and maintaining a clean and organized working environment.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
  • Recent experience in an OR of equivalent size within the last 5 years
  • Ability to wear lead for many hours and stand scrubbed for long periods
