Key Responsibilities
  • Information Security Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to define objectives for information security and develop a comprehensive strategy to mitigate risks.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Create and implement information security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Incident Response and Management: Develop and maintain a cyber security incident response protocol and lead response activities during security incidents.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of information security professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior administration, academic leaders, and the campus community, to deliver a comprehensive information security program.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Information Security or a related field, plus equivalent training and experience.
  • Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in computing and information security, network security issues, and security incident response or related information technology fields.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in leadership and people management.
