Security Guard Job Description

Paladin Security Group, a leading security company, is seeking a skilled Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for providing customer service, monitoring access control, and ensuring the safety of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct foot patrols of buildings, both interior and exterior, to ensure the safety and security of the premises.

• Monitor access control and ensure that only authorized personnel have access to secure areas.

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

• Utilize a radio to communicate with colleagues and management, ensuring effective communication and response to any security incidents.

• Monitor situations, property, and events, taking prompt action to address any security concerns or incidents.

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Valid Manitoba Security Guard License required.

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with the public.

• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

• Ability to wear a uniform and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
