About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at PHL Distributions INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures, coordinating HR department activities, and planning, developing, and implementing human resources policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Consultation and Grievance Procedures
    • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
  • HR Department Coordination
    • Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Human Resources Policy Development
    • Plan, develop, and implement human resources policies and programs to support the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Recruitment and Hiring
    • Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Employee Relations
    • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
  • Training and Development
    • Manage training and development strategies to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Payroll Administration
    • Oversee payroll administration to ensure accurate and timely payment of employees.
  • Benefits and Health and Safety
    • Research and recommend changes to employee benefits and health and safety practices.
  • Performance Management
    • Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
