We are seeking a Lead Educator to join our team at Montessori Academy Learning Centre. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Job Summary

The Lead Educator will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students. This individual must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have the ability to work effectively with colleagues and parents.

This is a full-time position that requires on-site work. We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, we provide comprehensive health benefits, including dental and vision care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with Montessori curriculum standards
  • Provide guidance and support to junior educators and teaching assistants
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver curriculum
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A degree from a recognized college or CEGEP program (3 months to less than 1 year)
  • At least 1 year of experience in early childhood education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
