Early Childhood Educator Role Overview

Eh to Zed Preschool Canada Early Learning Academy is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and nurturing environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
  • Encourage children to express creativity through various mediums
  • Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents or guardians
  • Establish relationships with colleagues and community service providers working with children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children

Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Willing to relocate

Work Environment:
  • Child care centre
  • 35 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • Work Language: English
