Job Description

LITTLE CHAMPS DAY CARE CENTRE INC. is seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Educator to lead our childcare programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that cater to the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Activities Coordination: Plan and lead activities, including storytelling, teaching songs, and outings to local points of interest.
  • Child Guidance: Support children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents or supervisors.
  • Team Collaboration: Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and community service providers.
  • Environment Maintenance: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children.

Requirements

  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) or Child development worker (ECE level 2) certification
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification
  • 1-2 years of experience in early childhood education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
