The Mango tree is seeking a skilled Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Your expertise will also be required to train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers

As a Head Cook at The Mango tree, you will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, organizing buffets and banquets, and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards. You will also be required to work under pressure and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • 30 hours per week
  • English language
