Job Title: Server - Food and Beverage Services

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Talbot Arm Motel Limited. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
  • Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
  • Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
  • Advise on menu selections
  • Balance cash and record sales
  • Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
  • Describe and advise on wine selection
  • Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • Serve food and beverages
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Provide customer service
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
Requirements:
  • Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • or equivalent experience
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is located in a rural area and offers a unique dining experience for our guests. We provide staff accommodation and room and board for our employees.
