We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team at Talbot Arm Motel Limited. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage tables, take orders, and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Balance cash and record sales accurately.
- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
- Assist clients/guests with special needs.
- Provide information on menu items, including daily specials.
- Describe and advise on wine selection.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Restaurant setting with staff accommodation and room and board provided.
- Rural area with a remote location.
- Pub and hotel/motel/resort settings.
- On-site housing options.
- Permanent work term.
- 40 hours per week.
- Work Language: English.
