Job Summary

Mackenzie Health seeks a skilled Clinical Behaviour Therapist to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate professional to work in a long-term care home setting, providing clinical assessment and treatment recommendations through a comprehensive behavioural approach.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and monitor behaviour intervention programs that augment individual care plans.
  • Develop, implement, and supervise mediator training for caregivers and other care team members.
  • Liaise and collaborate with external specialty teams and resources.
  • Organize and lead monthly clinical rounds.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in psychology and related experience or equivalent.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and vehicle.
  • Current clinical experience and knowledge of behaviour therapy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide clinical training and support to staff and other care team members.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a well-developed attendance record, and the ability to perform essential duties including carrying a caseload, conducting assessments, and more.
