About the Opportunity

Mackenzie Health is seeking a Behaviour Technician to provide assessment and treatment services, including training and staff support, in the delivery of behavioural services. This role involves working within Standards of Practice as outlined by the Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs for mediators and community agencies
  • Provide on-going education on applied behaviour analysis

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Psychology and related experience or equivalent
  • Current certification in First Aid and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and a vehicle, with willingness to travel throughout York Region and/or Simcoe County

What You Bring:

  • Clinical experience and knowledge of applied behaviour analysis as it applies to developmental disabilities, brain injury, dual diagnosis, and sexually inappropriate behaviour
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analytic terminology and concepts
  • Demonstrated computer literacy in a Windows environment
  • Proven attendance record
  • Understanding and compliance with patient and staff safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the job

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
