Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at Sandmere Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve work-related problems, provide technical guidance, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other project supervisors or managers to coordinate work activities and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure they are completed to the highest standards.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete projects effectively.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 35-40 hour workweek. The work language is English, and the work environment is on-site.
