About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Customer Relations team as an Exchange and Returns Co-worker. As an IKEA Ambassador, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all IKEA visitors and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between customers and the store, resolving any issues in a fair and timely manner
  • Process transactions according to IKEA returns and exchange policies, and handle cash according to IKEA policy
  • Maintain an ongoing awareness of daily and weekly service/delivery targets
  • Ensure stock accuracy and inventory integrity by meticulously following Returns/Exchange policies and routines
  • Stay current with IKEA product knowledge, in-store and online specials, and updates on returns and exchange policies
  • Assist team members with additional duties as required

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of customer service work experience in retail
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Comfortable with computers and technology
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
