Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Communication, Learning and Behaviour Service. As a Developmental Assessment Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of children and youth under the age of 18 years six months, and providing feedback, consultation, and education to clients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct developmental assessments of children and youth, and provide feedback to clients and families.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to provide client-centred care that is goal-oriented, evidence-based, and outcome-oriented.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that are tailored to the needs of each client.
- Contribute to the development of program and service activities that promote excellence in care.
- Work with clients and families to set goals that are targeted and measurable.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of client safety.
- Supervise graduate-level psychology students and contribute to discipline learning through didactics, presentations, and group discussions.
- Ph.D. in Psychology.
- Current registration with the College of Psychologists in Ontario, with declared competencies in Clinical Psychology with children and adolescents.
- Previous experience working with children and families, particularly those with autism, neurological conditions, and developmental disabilities.
- Extensive experience with ADOS-2 administration, scoring, and interpretation.
- Experience working with an interdisciplinary team is an asset.
