We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Care Assistant to join our team at Magnolia Dental. In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities, promoting physical and mental well-being.
  • Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, and setting up medical equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Perform various tasks related to personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
  • Supply and empty bed pans, maintaining patient hygiene and comfort.
  • Take patients' blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, monitoring their health and wellness.
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients, catering to their dietary needs.
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients with care, preventing injuries and promoting mobility.
  • Deliver messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens between departments, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms, creating a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines, promoting physical activity and rehabilitation.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
