We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. This will involve independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, a leadership role within the healthcare team, and facilitating coordination of patient care and discharge.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
- Administer prescribed medical treatments, including medications and therapies.
- Lead the healthcare team in providing patient care, including delegating tasks and responsibilities to other healthcare professionals.
- Facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge, including communication with other healthcare professionals and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
- Successful completion of the WCCNEP Program or equivalent ICU program/training.
- Current BLS Health Care Provider registration.
- Provider Level ACLS registration (Instructor level preferred).
- Current ICU experience.
- Active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM).
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing care to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs. The ability to prioritize care, respond to changing situations, and maintain concentration in a demanding environment is essential.
