About the Role

LPT Contracting Ltd. is seeking a skilled Tile Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tile installations that meet our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and mark surfaces to ensure accurate tile placement.
  • Mix, apply, and spread adhesive materials using hand trowels.
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to secure them to the base.
  • Align and straighten tiles to achieve precise fitments.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles as needed.
  • Create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs using mosaic tiles.
  • Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets.
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
  • Install tile strips to complete installations.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • The role is physically demanding, requiring frequent lifting, bending, and kneeling.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and maintain attention to detail.
