At Delta Drywall Ltd., we are seeking an experienced Drywall Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to work on various projects, including industrial and residential sites.

About the Role:

We require someone with at least 2 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing. As a Drywall Specialist, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, filling joints and holes with joint compound, and ensuring a smooth finish. Your work must be completed on-site, as there is no option for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install drywall sheets, measuring, cutting, and fitting them to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Filling joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Position and secure sheets to ensure stability.
  • Smoth out excess compound and allow coats to dry.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This role involves working at heights, being outdoors, and handling heavy loads. You should be physically demanding and able to handle manual tasks. The ideal candidate will have reliability and be a team player.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
  • Ability to work at heights and outdoors.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and manual tasks.
  • Reliability and teamwork skills.
