Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Shandhar Hut. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing menus that exceed our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate special events and banquets, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer service.
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs, maintaining profitability and quality standards.
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, adhering to food safety and presentation standards.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Recruit and hire staff, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
