Job Title: CMHC Multi-Unit Residential Financing Manager

Meridian is seeking an experienced CMHC Multi-Unit Residential Financing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Business Banking team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our CMHC MUR lending program, ensuring its efficiency, effectiveness, and market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the CMHC MUR lending program, ensuring it meets Meridian's goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with CMHC personnel to ensure compliance with CMHC's MUR lending programs and regulations.
  • Collaborate with Business Banking Operations and Treasury to ensure seamless delivery of CMHC MUR lending services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key MUR developers and owners, as well as CMHC approved lender correspondents.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of credit applications, certificates of insurance, and underwriting binders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience working in the CMHC MUR market, preferably with experience as an underwriter within CMHC or as an originator/underwriter with a CMHC approved lender and/or approved correspondent.
  • Extensive knowledge of CMHC's MUR lending programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce/business or economics.
  • Demonstrated strength in all aspects of business development.
  • Strong analytical, due diligence, negotiation, credit underwriting, and adjudication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
