Drywall Installation Job Description

The Kavouras Group (TKG) is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to create smooth surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to create smooth surfaces
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to create a smooth finish
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
Work Environment:

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in a dusty environment with a moderate level of physical activity. You will be required to lift and move heavy drywall sheets and equipment.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in drywall installation
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment with a moderate level of physical activity
