Job Description:

As a Data Governance Product Manager at Verily, you will play a key role in shaping the data governance strategy for our Precision Health Platform. This platform is at the core of our research and care efforts, supporting clinical research studies, virtual care management products, and digital biomarkers.

Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining a comprehensive data governance product strategy, defining product requirements, and collaborating with engineering, design, and operational teams to translate these requirements into functional specifications and user-friendly interfaces. You will also oversee the implementation and integration of data governance solutions with existing systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive data governance product strategy aligned with the organization's overall data management and business objectives.
* Define product requirements, use cases, and success metrics for data governance solutions.
* Collaborate with engineering, design, and operational teams to translate product requirements into functional specifications and user-friendly interfaces.
* Oversee the implementation and integration of data governance solutions with existing systems and processes.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies, standards, and procedures while staying abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes impacting data governance.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and 5+ years in product management or a related technical role. Experience developing products in the data governance space is essential, as well as a deep understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and technologies. Additionally, you should have experience driving successful implementation and delivery of initiatives that span multiple development teams in an agile environment.

You will also need to understand how product requirements are affected by applicable healthcare and clinical regulations, best practices in accessibility, and enterprise security & privacy considerations. Strong communication skills across a wide range of audiences and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are also essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

A strong background in enterprise/B2B product management, experience building on FHIR, and familiarity with FHIR IGs would be advantageous. Familiarity with life sciences, healthcare, clinical trials, health research, or similar industries is also desirable.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of $143,000 - $198,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
