About the Role

CIMA Canada Inc is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Lead to join our team in Montreal. As a key member of our Industrial team, you will be responsible for leading mechanical projects in the Energy and Resources sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of approximately 15 people in executing multiple mandates or large-scale projects
  • Act as technical reference in the industrial and automation sector, finding solutions for complex engineering challenges
  • Act as liaison with clients to track project progress, ensuring their opinions and requests are taken into consideration
  • Ensure continuous monitoring of employees working on clients' premises, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Provide timely support in reviewing and accuracy of drawings and specifications, testing plans, and engineering designs
  • Work closely with clients to resolve project-related issues, including technical requests, completion, and budget requests
  • Perform contractual follow-ups, write amendments, and monitor financial progress of contracts
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or considerable experience in automation
  • Significant experience in a heavy industrial environment
  • Proficiency in financial concepts and budget monitoring
  • Proven project management skills
