We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at Shergill Developments Inc.
Job SummaryThe Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate construction activities, including preparation of production reports and scheduling of activities.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of workers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks efficiently.
- Estimate costs and materials, ensuring projects are completed within budget.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, requisitioning materials and equipment as needed.
- Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction or a related field.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
