Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Financial Reporting & Insights team in our Grande Prairie office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing comprehensive year-end engagements and tax returns for a diverse clientele across various industries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Preparing personal income tax returns, applying thorough knowledge of tax laws and personal finance strategies to benefit our clients.
  • Managing and executing compilation engagements, including Notice to Reader financial statements, with a focus on precision and reliability to deliver clear, understandable financial insights.
  • Cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with clients, demonstrating a proactive approach in responding to their requests and suggestions, thereby enhancing client trust and satisfaction.
  • Maintaining effective and ongoing communication with team members, sharing progress updates and promptly addressing any issues to facilitate a collaborative and supportive work environment.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant who possesses:

  • A minimum of three years of professional experience within the public accounting sector, demonstrating a solid foundation in accounting principles and a track record of delivering high-quality work.
  • A deep commitment to teamwork, client service, and maintaining the highest standards of quality in detailed financial analysis and reporting.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, coupled with a strong analytical mindset, enabling you to navigate complex financial scenarios and deliver strategic solutions.
  • Top-notch communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex financial information clearly and effectively to both clients and team members.
  • A comprehensive understanding of accounting policies and standards, with the ability to apply this knowledge adeptly in a practical, business context.
