About the Role:

  • Prepare financial statements, corporate and personal income tax returns, GST returns, payroll for owner managed businesses, T4s, T5s.
  • Meet deadlines as assigned by the partner or senior staff accountant.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Experience in the preparation of financial statements for owner managed businesses.
  • Experience in the preparation of corporate and personal income tax returns.
  • Understanding of various software programs, including Simply Accounting, Quickbooks, Caseware and Microsoft Office.
