Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Technician - Avionics and Maintenance Specialist to join our Engineering Team in Vancouver, Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the airworthiness of our aircraft and ensuring the safe operation of our flights.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on Cathay Group aircraft, including avionics and electrical systems
  • Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft components and systems to identify potential issues
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement repair plans
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency
Requirements
  • Completion of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Category M program or equivalent training and experience
  • Possession of FAA-certified Airframe and/or Powerplant License is preferred
  • Demonstrable aptitude and understanding of aircraft maintenance operations, including avionics and electrical systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues
  • Eligibility to obtain necessary credentials and clearances per local requirements
