About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide direct pharmaceutical care to inpatients and outpatients, including patient counseling, medication monitoring, and education/drug information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct pharmaceutical care to inpatients and outpatients
  • Participate in patient counseling and medication monitoring
  • Conduct drug utilization reviews and liaison with Community Pharmacists
  • Participate in clinical pharmacy research and education/drug information

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a recognized School of Pharmacy
  • Eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists
  • Completion of a Hospital pharmacy residency program and/or equivalent related direct patient care experience (minimal 2 years) in a hospital setting preferred
