Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Quality Inn & Suits Kingston. As a key member of our hotel operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Coordinate Cleaning Schedules: Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules to ensure our facilities are clean and ready for guests.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections to ensure our facilities meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Manage Supplies and Equipment: Order and manage cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure our facilities are well-stocked and maintained.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with our front desk, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service and attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, and reliability are essential for this role.
