Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Willingdon Care Centre, a beautiful long-term care facility in Burnaby, BC.

Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, including assessments, planning, and implementation of care plans. You will also be responsible for administering medications, supervising care staff, and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform assessments and develop care plans for residents
  • Administer oral and subcutaneous medications as prescribed
  • Supervise care staff to ensure high-quality care
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred)
