Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
- Hire and manage food service staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, including maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining area.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies, and manage inventory levels to minimize waste.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef and ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a team environment.
