Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all team members are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team in place to deliver exceptional service.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Budgeting and Cost Estimation: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing a positive and welcoming experience for all customers.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have accurate and up-to-date information to inform our business decisions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.
Language:English.
Hours:35 to 44 hours per week.
