Job Description:

Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Construction Contract Administrator to join our Critical Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering construction contracts, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer construction contracts on behalf of the owner/client, ensuring compliance with project requirements and specifications.
  • Verify that construction work is performed in accordance with contract documents and specifications.
  • Administer payment and resolve claims with contractors.
  • Prepare financial reports, including contract costs, incremental contract funding, and project status reports.
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to the owner.
  • Resolve construction issues through the RFI, Site Instruction, and Change Order Processes.
  • Oversee the Quality Assurance program and administer Non-Conformances to the work.
  • Supervise inspection and administration staff working on the project.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in construction administration.
  • PEO or OACETT registration in good standing.
  • Knowledge of Contract Administration requirements.
  • Knowledge of applicable design standards, OPS specifications, standard drawings, and quality control/quality assurance material testing methods.
  • Knowledge of transportation construction practices and methods, including quality assurance procedures.
  • Proven analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to utilize computer software, including MS Word and Excel.
