Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Financial Strategist to join our team at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to maximize the sale of supplier brands to the trade and consumer through effective regional planning, selling, merchandising, and communicating.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute annual brand plans for each supplier to achieve company and supplier objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities, including point of sales, sales tools, creative assets, and marketing budgets.
  • Create and facilitate marketing presentations to key stakeholders.
  • Analyze customer insights and opportunities related to category positioning, trend analysis, and competitive programming.
  • Build innovation launch plans, initial order quantities, packaging requirements, product positioning, sell sheets, specs, and pricing.
  • Drive brand success through leadership selling against trade channels and actively supporting sales reps, district managers, and key account managers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
  • Five years of industry-related sales experience within distribution, hospitality, or supplier communities.
  • Valid state motor vehicle operator's license and ability to obtain auto liability insurance by state laws.
  • Comprehensive understanding of wine and spirits, including regions, varietals, product pairing techniques, basic production, and service.
  • Ability to adapt to various internal customer groups and personality types.
  • Strong negotiation skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Goal-oriented, focused, and assertive individual with minimal supervision required.
