We are seeking an enthusiastic educator to join our dynamic and progressive school division as an Outdoor Kindergarten Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a unique teaching environment that combines outdoor education with a growth mindset approach.

About the Role

As an Outdoor Kindergarten Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that promotes student success. You will work closely with students, parents, and the community to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that incorporate outdoor education and a growth mindset approach
  • Work with students to promote literacy and numeracy skills
  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with parents and the community to promote student success

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Education Degree
  • Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
  • Experience teaching Early Years level
  • Strong background in assessment and differentiating instruction
